Top Questions that Saves Applicants during College Interviews

Questions YOU Should Ask on Your College Interview

Many universities are now inviting many students to come to their colleges to be interviewed before they are officially accepted. From these, only a few are chosen at the most prestigious universities and colleges. But with the following advice, you’ll be able to give a much better interview and stand out amongst the other contenders.

First and foremost, formulate questions catered to the university or college you are applying to. When asking questions at your college interview, show that you have interest and initiative. However, don’t just ask questions that can be easily found on the college’s website like professor to student ratio or how many students are accepted to the college per year. All of this will usually be available on their website. Try to think of more specific and personal questions to ask about campus life, student organizations, how many classes are led by TAs versus professors, and study abroad for instance.

Another important aspect to ask about is what type of social atmosphere the college has. Is it mostly intellectual, party, Greek life-centered, or sports-driven? This will be important to find out beforehand to make sure that this university is even compatible for you. An important thing to remember is that the majority of colleges and universities want the best and brightest students to study at their institution so be sure to ask intelligent and thoughtful questions.
